How can PAs be more productive at work and in their personal lives? It probably comes down to planning, consistency and accountability, among other things. And guess what- there’s quite a few apps for that!

There are lots of tools available on the web to remind you to do something, connect you with people who are doing the same thing, and help you look back on your progress to see how close you are to your goal. So what’s the key to creating a goal and actually sticking to it?

Take a look at these apps to increase your odds of setting and reaching your goals

 Everest

Everest is popular goal planning app, which according to its creators, “helps you climb your Everest”. Key features include being able to capture an unlimited number of dreams and goals; breaking down the goals into smaller tasks, which can be tracked; and being able to share your goals and progress with select persons, the community of fellow goal chasers, and on social media.

 Todoist

You can manage an unlimited list of tasks and sub-tasks (which can be organized into projects and sub-projects); set deadlines for all activities; and access the task manager offline.

 Wunderlist

Wunderlist is the easiest way to manage and share your daily to-do lists. Whether you’re running your own business, planning an overseas adventure or sharing a shopping list with a loved one.

 43 Things

List Your goals. 43 Things is a social goal-making site that helps you create your list of goals, set reminders about your resolutions, and connect with others who have similar goals. The community aspect of 43 Things is what makes it shine: you can get inspiration for new goals and adopt others’ ideas.

 Nozbe

It is a task management system. It has multiuser support built in, full integration with Evernote and Dropbox, and a very responsive development team.

 Objectiveli

Prides itself in helping users manage goals and objectives in real-time. Instead of managing a “things to do” list, Objectiveli’s three components (goals, objectives and milestones) help you drive outcomes that matter most to you.

 Lifetick

Lifetick integrates personal core values into goal setting. The site provides email reminders, progress charting, and journal tools to help you set and accomplish SMART goals.

 Strides

Strides is the easiest way to track all your goals and habits in one place, with flexible reminders and beautiful charts to keep you motivated and on track. The graphs are particularly compelling, giving you the sense that you are looking at a dashboard for your life.
