Pastel colors are the official colours of spring and summer. Add a touch of pastel to a skirt or suit. (Could be your blouse)

Possibly the easiest trend to negotiate, the focus is on sportswear basics re-imagined in luxe materials. key pieces are:anything with shear panels.

Suits are timeless. Menswear-influenced twist—stronger shoulders and cuts. This Summer we spice things up a bit. Coordinate your suit with bold colors like red and royal blue.
A bright shift dress
The bright shift dress is a Spring/Summer trend you can pull off for work.
Midi Skirts
Mid-length is the length du jour, go for A-line or pencil styles and mix between print (geometric or floral) and block colours.
Crop Tops
Time to flash the midriff – crop tops are in. Don’t worry if you’re worried about flashing the flesh, cover up with high-waisted trousers.
Metallic pleats
Metallics are major. This ultra-feminine, sophisticated look was all over the skirts and dresses of the Spring/Summer 2014 catwalks. Last but not least, pleats swap their classical allure for a contemporary and edgy style and metallic pleats provide a discreet way to bring a little bling to skirts and dresses.
Sheer genius
Sheer and transparent fabrics, perhaps the most seductive trends for next season, are very popular choices. Light-as-air materials that are perfect for hot summer days.
Luxe tote bags
At the other end of the handbag trend scale are the luxe leather totes. This is about expensive looking shoulder bags with the space to carry your life essentials and more.
Flat Shoes
Out with the heels, in with the flats! Not only are they much easier to wear, they’re also much comfier too. In this season is slipper shoes, loafers, flatforms and our all-time favourite ballet pumps.
Jewellery : Tassels
Tassels were big on the runway this season and they’ve translated into jewellery on the high street. Look out for beaded and metallic styles.
