There are a few certain habits that can really simplify your life. I believe simpler is better, and that’s why I’m doing my best to get rid of excess stuff in my life. Happiness lies in small, little things, so why make life so complicated? Simplicity reduces heaviness in your life and makes it happier and lighter. Here are ten incredible habits to adopt to make your life simpler and happier.
Live in the present
Forget about the past and don’t think about the future. Live in the present! Learn how to enjoy the present moment and be thankful for everything you have in your life.
Stick to a regular sleep schedule
Being well rested is the key to maintaining high energy, reducing weight, beautiful skin and keeping a clear mind. Even on the weekends, while it may sound absurd, do your best to stay within your routine.
Write every action on a day, or on a “Master List”
Under sections titled “To Do,” “To Call,” Errands,” “Work,” “Personal.” Don’t clutter your mind with things to remember. Write them down in your planner.
Stop comparing your progress
Every painter is unique and so does his painting, similarly every person is unique and so is his/her beautiful life and his/her works. Acknowledge and appreciate your strengths. Identify your weakness so you can go beyond them. Embrace your uniqueness and achieve greatness with it.

One of the greatest stress producers we have in modern life is the pressure put upon us to participate in social organizations, to be involved in activities, to “be there” for everyone who asks. These are worthwhile things, but *you* need to choose which ones to devote your time and energies to; don’t succumb to the notion that if you decline an invitation you’re a heel. Reserve sufficient time to be spent together with your family
Save time for yourself
We are so busy and trapped in your day to day over loaded schedules that we don’t have a couple of minutes to spend in serenity. Allocate 1hr everyday for yourself and don’t let any person or activity disturb it. Use that time for relaxing, contemplation and reflection.
Getting up and moving around every day is one of the most essential daily habits you should get into. Not only will it keep you fit and healthy, but also it will add time to your life and provide endorphins to make you happy.
Focus on experiences
Rather than things, having and possessing.
Actively changing your mindset to view your life and circumstances from a negative to a positive point of view creates an attitude of confidence and energy that promotes many other positive habits. If you practice the habit of positive thinking, even when you don’t feel positive, you will eventually change your mood and outlook — and this impacts your desire to perform a variety of other behaviors that improve your life.
